felted mini-purse, knit and felted double soled slippers and
of course our ever popular Personal Footprint Socks and Knit 2
Socks at a Time class, along with Beginner Knitting for 8 - 12

This sweet little evening bag requires some
short row knitting and a bit of sewing to finish. Vicki has
knit up a sample that can be seen at the shop. The pattern
designer recommends vibrant, bold colours. Knit the bag, felt
it and come back for the second lesson to sew on the hardware.
Knit Swirl Coat w/Vicki Watson

Vicki has knit this exquisite garment and
has agreed to give a lecture/info session on
how to read the pattern, execute and knit it and give you
short cuts on eliminating half of the yarn ends and will answer
any questions that you come up with.

Learn to knit a variety of small projects. This course will
teach you casting on and off, increasing and decreasing, pattern
reading, basic finishing techniques, and how to work with
different yarn types. Your prime project will be to knit a
scarf using 6 different stitch techniques.

4.0mm circular needle; 50 gms dish cloth cotton; 50 grams
Sirdar Click or a dk wt. yarn for a hat; 100 gms sock yarn/scarf;

Finishing a sweater
and/or finishing: 2 Saturday 1/2 day sessions 1:00

a tapestry needle. You will be learning how to carry a second
strand of yarn to get a contrasted mitten.
Beginner Fair Isle
Class with Margaret Duncan Feb. 16 & 23rd, 2013

(Beginner Knitting experience required)
Learn how to use two hands to knit. Learn the importance of
colour dominance and how yarn placement affects the "colour
effect". A pattern will be provided or you can pick one
from the many offerings in the store.
Materials needed: 100gms Galway wool and 50 gms Noro Kureyon
or Silk Garden yarn for a lovely contrast.
